Overview

1. What is Loopz™?
Loopz™ is a game that mixes memory, motion and music in a series of fast-paced, high-energy challenges.

2. How do you play?
The Loopz™ tower consists of four separate rings, or "loops," that light up in different sequences. All you have to do is wave your hands through the loops in response to the lights. The cool thing is, motion sensors detect your moves so you don't need to touch anything! Depending on the game you're playing, you'll need to do different things. Refer to the How to Play section for detailed descriptions of each game.

3. How many people can play?
Depending on the game, anywhere from 1 to 4 people can play.
Repeat the Beat™ – 1 player
Rhythm and Flow™ – 1 player
Versus Mode – 2 players
Reflex Master™ – 1-4 players
Musicology™ – 1 player
Freestyle DJ™ – 1 player
Music Studio – 1 player

4. Who can play Loopz™?
Loopz™ is fun for everyone, from ages 7 to 70!

5. What if I lost my instruction manual?
You can download a PDF of the manual by clicking here.

7. How do I adjust the volume?
Loopz™ has 5 volume settings, "5" being the loudest. You can change the volume at any time by pressing and holding the HOME button. The unit will cycle through the different volume settings, calling out each one. When you reach the desired setting, release the HOME button.

Installing batteries illustration Installing the Batteries

1. What kind of batteries do I need?
Loopz™ requires 4 "AA" batteries. For best performance, use only alkaline batteries.

2. Where do I put the batteries?
The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the Loopz™ tower. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to open it (not included).

Install 4 new 'AA' alkaline (LR6) batteries in the orientation (+/-) shown, then replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.

The Games

1. How do I select a game?
When you press the power button, Loopz™ will prompt you to "Select Game." Just wave your hand through either of the top loops to scroll through the list of games. Waving your hand through the top right loop scrolls forward through the list and the top left loop scrolls backward through the list. To confirm your game choice, wave your hand through either of the bottom loops.

2. Does Loopz™ keep track of my score?
Loopz™ scores your performance differently depending on the game you're playing. In Versus Mode and Reflex Master™, your score is the number of correct "hits" you achieved. In Repeat the Beat™ and Rhythm and Flow™, the game awards you a medal based on your performance:.

Locating the reset button Troubleshooting

1. What if the unit fails to detect my hand movements?
Refer to "Tips on Waving Your Hands" to make sure you're holding your hands correctly in order to break the sensor beams with maximum efficiency. If this doesn't help, move Loopz™ into an area with less light — too much ambient light (like bright florescent lights or the sun) can interfere with the sensors.

2. What if the unit locks up?
Use a pin or a paperclip to press the RESET button located on the back of the unit.

3. What if the lights dim or the sounds become distorted?
Replace the batteries as described above.
